The room was way bigger than I thought and having my own private Onsen was just dreamy. Breakfast was a delicious start with the fish being a standout. I also loved unwinding in the open-air bath and the lush gardens really boosted the experience. Just a heads up that the breakfast choices might be a bit tricky for some tastes, so be prepared for a culinary adventure 😄

The rooms where reasonably spacious and exceptional with a mountain view kept by the excellent stuff. The location offered was stunning near to the train station, the museum nearby and taxi/driving.

The open-air bath experience was tranquil.
Getting to the hotel was annoyingly inconvenient, as the location is quite isolated from the main attractions. The lack of dining options for those unfamiliar with Japanese cuisine felt limiting, especially when many dishes were unappealing and difficult to consume repeatedly. The shuttle service was also lacking in availability.

The onsen was nice, but the bathwater? A tad cooler than expected. The pillow choice was beyond bizarre, rice pillows? Not comfortable! It's shocking I didn't get a room upgrade as a distinguished guest, woudl ve been the least they could do. Almost wrote a good review, but couldn't let it slide here.
